Teaching

I'm the director of the BA Social Sciences at the University of Sheffield. I work with great colleagues and great students to ensure that everyone has the skills and knowledge they need to answer the questions they're interested in.

At the moment I'm part of the teaching team for Foundations of Social Science. While at Sheffield, I've previously taught Data Visualisation (first year), Doing Quantitative Research (second year), Principles of Research Design (Master's), and Social Analytics & Visualisation (PhD).

As well as my role at Sheffield, I'm the external examiner on the BSc Sociology, and related programmes, at UCL.

I've previously been the external examiner on the MA Social Research Methods at Durham, and the MRes Social Research at Sheffield Hallam.
